Avon King Grey Front Drawer Bed is made at Lignum Arts Private Limited in Sikar, not bought in as a flat-pack from a national warehouse. The frame is Sheesham (Indian rosewood). Lacquer is teak, honey or natural depending on the listing — those are colours on the timber, not three different species. Grain will not match a printed catalogue photograph line for line. That variation is the wood.

King beds from this workshop are listed for a 78 × 72 inches mattress. Measure the mattress you own before you assume it will sit inside the frame. Storage is in front drawers, so you reach bedding without lifting the mattress. Leave space at the foot of the bed for the drawers to open. Also measure the wall, the door swing, and the turn on the stairs. A bed that cannot enter the room is a problem we would rather catch on WhatsApp.

Quoted work is confirmed before we cut. Structure and hardware are covered as agreed at sale. On delivery, open the carton with the transporter present and note any damage on the slip.

After it is in the room: dust with a dry cloth, keep standing water and harsh afternoon sun off the lacquer, and lift the piece when you move it. A thin wax once or twice a year is enough if the surface looks dull. Weekly silicone spray builds a film that is hard to refinish.
